History & Origins
Lansot Village is one of the administrative areas in Tomohon City that has a long history in community service. Lansot has a historical background closely related to the development of Tomohon City as a city of flowers and a center for education in North Sulawesi.
Lansot Village administratively continues to grow along with regional expansion and population growth in Tomohon City. The residents of Lansot Village consist of various backgrounds who live in harmony and peace in building the environment.
The village organizational structure is led by a Village Head (Lurah) and assisted by Village Officials and Neighborhood Heads. The identity of Lansot Village reflects the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) and sincere service for all residents of Tomohon City.

Berasal dari buah "Lansat" yang menjadi simbol keberlimpahan hasil bumi sejak abad ke-16.
